如何申请

How do you want to create for good? To join our college as a graduate student and get the preparation you need to be a part of the future of chemical engineering, you’ll need to apply through the Ohio University Graduate College. Applicants with good English scores and BS grades are entitled to a waiver of the application fee. There is no need to claim financial hardship. Any applicant with a reasonable chance to be admitted will get it. 联系 graduate chair Prof. 顾廷岳(gu@俄亥俄州.edu) to receive a fee waiver code that can be entered on 工程CAS application portal.

Application Deadlines

秋季入学申请

2月. 1 for international applicants, July 15 for U.S. students (but it's a competitive process, so it's a good idea to make the 2月. 1截止日期)

Spring 入学

9月. 1 for international applicants, 12月. 1代表U.S. students (the competitive process makes 9月. (明智的目标)

Summer 入学

12月. 1 for international applicants, April 1代表U.S. students (the earlier the better).

All application deadlines are soft deadlines to ensure that there is ample time for F-1 visa application.

GRE考试成绩

Although submitting high GRE scores (e.g., GRE quantitative reasoning in the 80th percentile and above) can help offset less desirable GPA, we do not require submission of GRE scores in applications. They are not required for admissions and financial aid.

English Proficiency

For non-native English speakers without a prior degree from a U.S. school, English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS) scores are typically required. Students with English proficiency scores lower than the university requirements for funding eligibility may gain funding eligibility by successfully completing the recommended university English language improvement courses.

For those applicants who must submit English proficiency scores, official score reports must be submitted upon acceptance into the program.

Educational Background

Applicants whose educational preparation does not include the full range of required coursework typical of an accredited bachelor's degree in chemical engineering may be admitted with requirements for additional coursework to fill such gaps. Applicants lacking a background in mathematics through differential equations, in general chemistry, in general physics, or in thermodynamics will not be considered. We require B average (GPA 3.0 / 4.0) in graduate coursework. Any grade lower than C means the course must be re-taken while the low grade forever stays in the GPA calculation. Cumulative GPA lower than 3 means probation. A student will be dismissed if this happens in two consecutive semesters. We evaluate transcripts carefully to assure graduate coursework survivability.
